About the Service and How It Works
In the transport sector, every minute often counts, and success depends on how quickly you can find a replacement driver or a new order. We created Veovahetus — Estonia's first platform specifically designed for this format of work.
Why are regular social networks (Facebook, etc.) ineffective?
Many instinctively look for replacement drivers in groups, but face obstacles:
- Algorithms work against you: Facebook decides for itself who and when to show your post. An urgent ad might only reach a driver's feed two days later, when the order has already expired.
- Information noise and clutter: Your offer sits among advertising, politics, and other extraneous information. The message instantly flies up and "drowns" — it would need to be repeated every 15 minutes to be noticed at all.
- Lack of structure: It's impossible to quickly filter people on social networks, and you waste time on empty correspondence.
Veovahetus is a new solution:
- Instant notifications (Push notifications): As soon as a new load or available driver appears on the platform, the system immediately sends a notification to the browser of the device from which you posted the ad. You don't need to stay "on guard" in groups — the work finds you.
- Full control over notifications: We respect your peace. If you've finished searching or want to take a break, you can opt-out of notifications with one click as easily as you joined them. No intrusive spam.
- No registration or passwords: We've removed all barriers. You don't need to create an account or verify an email. The platform is open to everyone.
- Less typing — more choices: We value your time. Instead of long texts, there's a convenient "checkbox" system. Posting an ad takes less than a minute.
- One-click management: If your ad becomes irrelevant (you found a driver or load sooner), it can be deleted in just a couple of clicks. You won't get unnecessary calls.
- Only fresh database (7 days): An ad is active for exactly 7 days. After that, it automatically goes into the archive, and contact details are hidden. This ensures the database is always up-to-date.
We are not standing still. The Veovahetus team regularly works on making the service even simpler, faster, and better for you.
How does it work?
Go to the page → Select conditions (with checkboxes) → Add contacts → Done!
We are the first in Estonia to make finding replacement drivers and urgent loads this simple. Don't wait for social media algorithms to deign to show your ad among digital trash. Work directly, quickly, and efficiently.
Letter of Recommendation for Transport Companies
Safety recommendations when hiring drivers through the Veovahetus.ee platform.
Dear Partners and Heads of Transport Departments!
The Veovahetus.ee platform is designed to solve personnel issues promptly: we help you find qualified drivers for urgent trips, one-time rides, and short-term work in the shortest possible time.
To ensure transaction transparency and comfortable cooperation between parties, we recommend following this protocol when agreeing on trip participation:
1. Verification of Mandatory Documents
Before starting cooperation, ensure the validity of the following documents:
- 🔹 Driver's License: Correspondence to categories and vehicle type.
- 🔹 Driver Card (Chip): Validity period of the digital tachograph card.
- 🔹 Professional Certificate (Code 95): Proof of qualification.
- 🔹 ADR Permit: For specific cargoes, check for the corresponding certificate.
- 🔹 Medical Certificate: Valid permit to drive a vehicle.
2. Identity Verification
Standard practice strengthening trust between parties is verifying data in documents with the performer's identity. This helps avoid misunderstandings and confirms the driver's professional status.
3. Legal Formalization of Cooperation
To make interaction as understandable and predictable as possible, we recommend fixing agreements in an employment contract or other agreement. This allows both parties to fix payment terms and clearly distribute responsibilities for the duration of the trip. The existence of a document creates a foundation for calm work and helps promptly resolve any organizational questions.
Important Note: Veovahetus.ee acts as a link between the customer and the performer. The final decision on starting cooperation and choosing the legal formalization method is made by the transport company according to its internal rules.
Following these simple steps contributes to creating a professional and safe environment for your business. Thank you for trusting our service!
Sincerely,
Veovahetus.ee Team
Driver's Safety and Responsibility Memo
Recommendations for vehicle acceptance and trip execution via the Veovahetus.ee platform
Dear Drivers!
The Veovahetus.ee platform helps you quickly find work and collaborate with leading transport companies. To ensure your trip is successful and you are protected from legal and technical risks, we strongly recommend performing a check before every departure.
Remember: by accepting a vehicle and signing transport documents, you assume professional responsibility for compliance with transport regulations.
Before starting a trip, the driver is obliged to ensure the following:
- Technical Condition of the Vehicle
Perform a visual and technical inspection of the car. Ensure the braking system, lights, tire condition, and technical fluid levels are in order. By accepting the car, you confirm its suitability for safe operation. - Existence and Validity of Insurance Policies
Check for valid vehicle insurance (LKF/Green Card) and, if necessary, carrier's liability insurance (CMR insurance). Driving without valid insurance entails personal liability for the driver. - Payment of Road Tolls
Ensure that road tax (teekasutustasu) and all necessary vignettes for the route are paid by the transport company. Liability for driving on toll roads without payment often falls on the person driving the vehicle. - Licenses and Permits
Check for the original or certified copy of the transport license and international transport permits (CEMT/permissions) in the cabin, if required for the route. - Accompanying Documentation
Ensure you have a complete package of cargo documents: waybills (CMR), invoices, export declarations, and ADR documents (for dangerous goods) if necessary. Data in the documents must strictly correspond to the actual cargo. - Formalization of Employment Relations
Before immediately starting the trip, ensure that an employment contract (or other official service agreement) is concluded between you and the employer. The contract must clearly state payment terms, deadlines, and areas of responsibility. A signed document is your main legal protection.
Important Note on Liability:
Veovahetus.ee is an information platform. Full responsibility for the existence of a signed employment contract, checking the vehicle's condition, existence of necessary permits, and compliance with traffic rules lies with the driver. Careful inspection of all conditions before departure is the guarantee of your professional reputation and financial security.
We wish you easy and safe trips!
Sincerely,
Veovahetus.ee Team
